Wisdom Healing Qigong Professional Training Program – Teacher Training and Healers' Program

Deepen your healing capacities … Fulfill your life purpose ... Share your gifts with others

One of the best ways to accelerate your own growth and healing is to share your gifts and passion for healing with others. Our Professional Training Program offers this deep opportunity for service. Learning and growing in your own practice, you exponentially deepen your understanding as you share the theory and practice of Wisdom Healing Qigong (WHQ) with others.  Prerequisite is completion of beginning level of Qigong for Life courses or equivalent experience.

There are two training pathways you can choose: Teaching or Healing. Many students opt for both. Both tracks integrate the heart of Wisdom Healing Qigong, providing essential practices and tools for energetic healing and introducing the catalysts for self-transformation.

All aspiring professionals enter the program through the same wisdom gates. Whether you intend to teach classes, cultivate your natural healing abilities and/or augment your private practice with the benefits of WHQ, the Professional Training Program curriculum is designed to amplify your innate capacities.

The practices, principles and philosophy of Wisdom Healing Qigong are taught through a dynamic online curriculum with both live and pre-recorded teachings from Master Mingtong Gu, supplemental written, audio and video materials, experiential projects, practicum assignments, chi buddy discussions and assessments. Our entire certification program is designed to transmit this ancient wisdom tradition via state-of-the-art online learning technology.

“At first, my goal for becoming a Wisdom Healing Qigong teacher was just to share this healing practice with family, friends, and community. Over this last year and a half of being fully immersed in the professional program, the discipline of practice and study has catapulted me to a place of connection, growth and possibility that I could never have imagined. I am just beginning to realize that the habits and patterns I continually cultivate as part of this program are sculpting and shaping my soul and spirit into an ever expanding vessel for love and healing. The more I deepen my capacity, the more fully I can represent and transmit these teachings and practices to others. It's a beautiful, fulfilling and joyous journey!"

Peer Reviews of the Professional Training Program
  • Having a community of like-minded and wonderful people to get to know...

Because I have enjoyed the course and benefited so much myself, I would definitely recommend the Professional Program to students who want to go deeper into the material, and to those who might want to teach WHQ or use it for healing work. Some of the parts of the course that have been important to me include:

    1. Hearing Mingtong talk about the background and theory of WHQ. He has a way of explaining concepts that makes them easier to understand and experience.

    2. Having a community of like-minded and wonderful people to get to know, to be supported by the teachers and students, and to learn by their experience and different ways of using the work. I enjoy working with my Chi Buddy and teachers are always available to answer my questions.

    3. Having encouragement and guidance in how to organize and teach classes and healing groups. This support has empowered me with the motivation, courage, and ideas for implementing my own classes and groups.

    4.  The professional training program has allowed me to go deeper into my studies and practice and has allowed me to deeply integrate the different practices we are learning.  Ruth R

  • I am so grateful for the support I have felt and the awakening that I am experiencing within my being and outwardly

I feel I always say this but here goes again. I so very deeply enjoy the depth and thoroughness of the teachings and the professional training program in general. I am totally enveloped by and am completely amazed by this journey already and feel honored to be sharing it with all my classmates, Master Gu and the entire Chi Center family. I am so grateful for the support I have felt and the awakening that I am experiencing within my being and outwardly. The deep transformation and awakening I am experiencing is at this point beyond words for me.

The only suggestion I would like to mention is that I would love to see the training program evolve to be longer and longer and eventually a master training program. Haola  Blair B

  • Mingtong Gu stands out from most other teachers not just because he has knowledge and wisdom

Mingtong Gu stands out from most other teachers not just because he has knowledge and wisdom but because he is able to convey it in a way that truly addresses the needs of his students, making his knowledge accessible and actionable. He manages to make the potentially sanitary mode of online learning personal and relevant to students around the world through technology that brings him directly into their homes and even into their pockets and backpacks through mobile phones and audio files. He has the special gift of speaking from his own heart to other hearts with insight and compassion. Anna Y.

I would unequivocally recommend the professional program to others. My life has changed dramatically for the better while studying Wisdom Healing Qigong. The professional program allows you to dive deeper personally as you prepare to share with others. I recommend the WHQ Professional Program all the time. A really comprehensible, reasonably priced, delightful and supportive way to learn and grow together with a large community of wonderful teachers and practitioners. Vivienne V-R.

Yes. I would tell anyone interested that it is a course rich in teachings and practice. Engaging in the professional program can have positive influence and impact in all aspects of one's life. I would also say that since this course is very comprehensive, be prepared to spend serious time being involved.  Adrianne O

I do and I would recommend the WHQ Professional Program because it has given me so much during this year as a teacher. The program has been a fountain of information that has enhanced my own practice as well as my students. Anat S

I would recommend the Wisdom Healing Qigong Professional Program to others, especially to those who have already had some training in qigong. The program is quite comprehensive with practice, theory, material and information.  Rijuta T

Mingtong is the first reason I would highly recommend this program. He is an internationally acclaimed Master who brings humor and happiness to these profound practices and teachings. He embodies the true benefits of WHQ.

Scientifically proven effective, WHQ is an internationally well-known and practiced form of qigong. Certification is aligned with national requirements. Course material downloads create a rich library of reference work.

Both website and staff proved to be highly professional - great value at an affordable cost. Inclusion in the worldwide collective of WHQ practitioners with The Chi Center at the heart is priceless.  Karen S

In Units 5 and 6 we will focus on cultivating both a philosophical understanding of the Three A's and the Healing Mind as well as the ability to transmit this information to our prospective students. Personal practice of these teachings naturally provides the highest level of integration.

Key to healing is the acceptance of one’s current conditions and challenges. Accepting or unconditionally loving every aspect of ourselves is challenging; yet it is essential. We can still be eager for change and activate healing through all the tools at our disposal including the Wisdom Healing Qigong practices we are learning. Appreciating the gift of life, the practices and our collective experience brings the whole journey into one joyful process.

Unit 6: Components of the Healing Mind

Learning Objectives: After completion of this unit, students will be able to:

    • Practice with the understanding of the layers of Healing Mind

    • More fully cultivate their own Healing Minds

    • Articulate how they are experiencing their bodies energetically

Healing Mind or consciousness, from the Chinese perspective, is a union of the mind and heart. Bringing the mind back to the body (as we do in Qigong) is the essential first step. Awareness of the chi or life force energy arises from the practice; from there we learn to cultivate a positive mind, a focused mind, a loving mind, and a mind that begins to perceive visually, beyond the senses into the energy. We will explore both cultivating our own Healing Mind, and utilizing our capacity to connect deeply with the chi field and our students; as well as foster this awareness and capacity in our students. Where the mind goes, energy follows.

Unit 7: Stages of Learning, The Progressive Nature of Wisdom Healing Qigong (WHQ)

Learning Objectives: After completion of this unit, students will be able to:

    • Understand and apply the stages of learning for Wisdom Healing Qigong for self and students

    • Articulate why the stages of learning are important to understand

There are three levels of instruction of each Wisdom Healing Qigong form, and observable stages of progression within these steps. While individuals have their own unique experiences as they mature there is great value in understanding the natural progression so that as an instructor you are able to nurture, integrate and build upon the accumulative progress of your students. Slow progression with deep integration optimizes results. We need to be mindful of the overall picture to activate at the appropriate level for our students.

    Unit 8: Integration

A period of reflection and opportunity to review materials from the previous three units. Assessments to take to receive credit for these units.

Unit 9: Six Golden Keys Part 1: Haola, Inner Smile, Trust

Learning Objectives: After completion of this unit, students will be able to:

    • Describe and practice the first three of six Golden Keys

    • Articulate how they have come to know Haola in their lives

    • Be able to explain and guide a simple Inner Smile practice

Foundational to the success of the medicine-less Qigong hospital in China were the Six Golden Keys. This month we will focus on Haola (all is well so be it) which is deeply related to the Three A’s. We will learn and practice the Inner Smile meditation and teaching and discuss the relationship between Trust and Belief.

Unit 10: Six Golden Keys part 2: Service, Chi Field and Dedicated Practice

Learning Objectives: After completion of this unit, students will be able to:

    • Practice with and describe service, the chi field, and the importance of dedicated practice

    • Utilize the chi field for expanded practice and teaching benefits.

    • Understand and articulate the power of dedicated practice to students.

Appreciation and Service go hand in hand. This unit teaches strategies to amplify our chi benefits and influence through dedication of our practice beyond our own personal needs.

Unit 11: Principles and Practices of Energetic Healing

Learning Objectives: After completion of this unit, students will be able to:

    • Continue the journey of understanding the methodology of energetic healing

    • Describe the concepts of energetic healing to students and clients

    • Understand flow of chi as both energy and information

The Wisdom Healing (Zhineng) Qigong approach to healing which has fostered so many “miraculous” healings is not so miraculous when you understand the energetic science of healing. While Western medicine generally focuses on and treats specific symptoms, Wisdom Healing Qigng takes a holistic approach, which is embedded in the understanding that source energy is everywhere present, and everything is constantly changing. Our minds, when deeply connected energetically, can guide that transformation for our personal and global benefit.
